jabo could you explain my score ...

i had 2 bomber kills and 4 AI truck kills

while only loosing 2 109g2s
(one to an early keyboard malfunction for which i was granted a re-roll so no kill was awarded)

i was recorded captured twice also
(however one was due to an accidental teleport to my original roll field which had just been captured just an otr and out, for which i received a safe exit btw)

so i am wondering how i ended up in negative numbers on your score sheet for the series.

EDIT: i went through points and according to the posted values i have my score as +2 not the -.4 on your spread sheet ...

unless i am misreading something ...

it's been that way for a long time and in these series it also fudges with the front line in the sense that a ditch in friendly territory can still result in a capture if you happen to be closer to an enemy field than you are to an friendly field, even if you are in friendly territory per the battle lines on the map. not sure the settings will fix that it may need to be addressed in how you draw the lines jabo.

however clear ditch re-rolling is not pandemic amongst the community and different squads have different policies. that has caused some heated discussions before so imo chunky is right and the no safe exit range should be reduced to a reasonable distance imo.

not sure what the difference should be to the score other than for individuals ...

carrier landings of non carrier A/C ought to be expected to go badly ...

are b29s scored so much lower than their targets that they can be tossed away?

in any case an operation like that had to be considered risky, i suspect that we won't see another like that for a while ...
