Thread: Mowing the lawn and warbirds |

I was a bit bummed when I found out the DVR didn't record the US World Cup game. In a bad mood I went outside to mow the lawn. A few minutes later I heard an a/c fly over that sounded unique, and looked up and saw a B24. WOW! Then a few minutes later a P51 came over, followed later by a B17.
My wife came home expecting me to be in a bad mood about the soccer game, but I was giddy as all heck...glad I was outside to see this private airshow

Thread: Target hardness |
|

I don't believe there is anything the Janitors can do about hardness. Of course I could be wrong...but when we built the terrains we set the hardness at the time before compiling the terrain files. It isn't something that can be changed afaik without changing the terrain.
In hindsight when we created the old ETO (which is when most of the objects were created), I think we did so at a time when there were many many more fellas flying bombers.

I hope you may return one day. Cheers and best to you and your family

Jabo, since the Ki61c is subbing for the Ki100 (cannon a/c), what are we using for the ki61 cannon a/c? In the end we have both versions of the ki61(b and c).
Could we drop the 61b (mgs only), and fly two frames in the ki61c.
I'm not an expert in these a/c. It does seem that the ki61c would boost the capability of the squadrons flying Japanese during this event.
edited-I just reread your post, and pretty much misunderstood it hence my question. Im gonna go take a nap now

<S> Skinez,
We will be fine wrt hitting ships. Remember, only the USN will be around the ships, so it's not like we have to fight the entire Allied air force in order to break through. I imagine we will have find that is is easier to hit the enemy ships, than take on their bomber escort formations.
I appreciate your enthusiasm and the questions your throwing out. Keep it up, we are gonna be fine
