I left JG27, JG2 and VFM222 as singles, they of course can join up with any squad for operations. Let me know and I can adjust the numbers if you plan on staying with one squad for the entire series.

Yeah I just copied what WW2 database had. Many we have. Three votes are basically your top three planes you think are needed. We can then tally up all the votes per plane and get some idea of what the majority of S3 players would like to see.

This is just individual opinions and can be based upon anything you want. I would though disregard any talk of added planes or rumours of added planes and just vote for your top 3 you would like to see in the game.

ETO map is needed. I think the one I have needs a few corrections. Not sure what the latest Muzz Map for the ETO is.

Planes and rules will be up this week and some testing over the weekend.

Please see assigned sides and again double check your numbers. Some of the smaller squads have not reported in.

Putting together the events but they tie into each other and numbers are important. Of one or two is not a big deal but squads folding or drastically downsized really hurt play-balance down the line.

Slight Delay in the start not this sunday but next Sunday.
Computer rebuild over summer but still behind loading programs.

First series will be West Wall Eagles, Germany 1945 and it will feature all of your favourites in the ETO terrain.

This is the first of the Back to Back(B2B) Series. Even sides and then squads switch and play the other side in April.

A poll from S3 players. Pretend you dont know what a/c will be in the list of new ones and vote for the 3 you think are best for the game and S3 play.

Database from WW2 database. Divided into three categories. Please let me know of any missing a/c and they can be added to the list.

Each player gets 3 votes. Do not edit, remove or change anything other than adding your votes.

Please put your callsign beside the planes you choose in the vote boxes. Each aircraft has at least 50 vote boxes so there should be enough room.

I think you may be wrong Dewolf as the two B2B series will be seperated by a good couple of months and they will be the classic good game and historical matchups. Historical but poor game matchups see numbers drop. Good fights draw players together.
But we shall see. We try different things, some work some dont. Perfect example was the campaign series. Sounded great on paper but the lack of switching of squads and sides day in and day out got to many.

Ah I figure out what I did.
I copied the formula from DOB to EOTL.
But int DOB we had tonnes of bomber kamakazes and we reduced the bomber score for simplicity sake to 1 rather than 2.
Restored the EOTL values to the regular 2 pts for bombers.
Will repost the spreadsheet after a few beers.

We need an accurate judgement for the upcoming season. Take your time and be as close as possible.
This is very important for balance as we will be doing two back to back series this season and numbers are crucial to having sides close as they switch from one side to the other.

Just a personal observation on planes for WBs.

I am sure there are ones that are important for making the gameplay in the MA and other arenas more competitive and these should be added to the game but I am so out of touch with those.

So this is only as regards to S3 play and in no particular order.

Hawk 75 for early war French Campaign, we do this event often and its a good matchup. Subbed with the wildcat right now.

Beaufighter for desert, midwar and late war ETO. Because it is essentially similar to the Beaufort and Blenheim in design it would make sense to model these as well. All of which we sub alot in S3s with the mossie.

Il-2 Sturmovik, single and dual versions. Pretty much crucial to any Russian Front game. Again one model but two types can be produced. Subbed with the SBD right now.

I-16 Rata. For early war Russian Front events.

SM-79. For western desert and malta events. Often subbed with the He111.

MC200. For western desert and malta events often subbed with the Ki43 right now.

Typhoon. For midwar and late war ETO. Subbed with the F4U1D.

TBF Avenger. For any PTO past Coral Sea. TBD subbed now.

B6N Tenzan. To replace the paper Kate and make late war PTO attacks more survivable.

Ki67 Peggy. For late ware PTO, subbed in S3s by the Ju88.
